Cainiao Smart Gateway is Hong Kong's first logistics facility designed from the start for application of automation solutions. Automated Material Handling Systems (MHS) such as ASRS, high-density storage with automated putaway and retrieval performed by a shuttler, or robots in the form of AGVs, as well as award-winning handheld PDA devices known as LEMO, are linked to WMS for real-time data, greatly improving order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
